Bye, Bye to closing the jeans

...well most of them anyway. I can still close the jeans that were a little baggy PRE-pregnancy. But prraaaiiissee Jesus for the BE Band! It's just like the Bella Band, but cheaper! It's great to wear since I am still kind of in between. My maternity jeans are a tad baggy, but then my regular ones just don't want to close! It's still weird that I am pregnant... I'm normally like yeah, I'm pregnant--but then when I start to think about it, like ok well a baby is going to come out in about 6 months.. AHHHH can't think about it! It's just one of those things you can't see happening. haha I was trying to explain this phenomenon to Jonathan, like when you are a little kid you can't EVER see yourself going to High school, or you can't EVER see yourself driving. And then it just happens. I can see myself having a kid, just not literally having the baby--weird, I know! Maybe it's because I don't want to think about squeezing a watermelon out of a hole the size of a quarter..could be it :)The BE Band...and no this isn't me!

14 layers and Happy Birthday little sisters!!

Ok so I had this bright idea to make this 14 layer cake that I saw on Bakerella for my sister's birthday. It was a lot of hard work, and looked neat--but tasted not good. Everyone was trying to be nice and say it tasted fine--it wasn't! Sooo here are the pics that outline the infamous 14 layer, not so good tasting, cake!

YUP, I had to cook each layer in a pan. This was the last batch so there were only 2, there were usually 3 cooking at a time.

The 14 layers!!! Ok so it looks cool, but it wasn't good. I figured out I should have cooked it at a higher temperature, maybe a tad longer... and my baking powder may be bad! So annoyed!!

I had to put this pic up because it's freakin hilarious!! For some reason, George's head looks the same size as Corinn's!!!!

IZZE!!!!

I totally forgot to talk about my new fave drink!!! A girl in Sunday School told me about these, and I am pumped!! I don't want to drink cokes, so this totally gets my craving. All they are is fruit juice and sparkling water, so you get that fizzy coke feel. No sugar (just from the fruit), no caffeine, no preservatives, and the website says no artifical ingredients!! YEA!! You got to try one. I drink the ones in the can..they are the fortified ones with vitamins or something like that.

Am I seriously always hungry???

The answer is, YES!!! I am always HUNGRY!! I hear this is normal though... I have to eat every two hours or I will kill somebody. I have to bring snacks to work, and I am trying to stay healthy, even though I do slip up!! I don't have many pictures today, because I am waiting on my sister to post her pictures so I can steal some! So this is just a hello and a little update!! I just think this picture is hilarious so I had to post it. This is one of our dogs, Dawson, very upset because he had to stay in the kitchen at Dara's (Jonathan's sister) house. Pathetic, I know!! I thought he was going to break his neck...so of course mama let him out. :)

Ohh those Crazy Cravings!!

So if you know me..you know that for awhile now I have not been eating meat. Probably since 6th or 7th grade soo like over 10 years now!! And what has been the thing I crave most??? MEAT!! Can't get enough of it... Steak, barbecue, beef, you name it--- can't even stand the thought of chicken right now... so today I was craving a McDonald's cheeseburger. I probably haven't been to McDonald's almost as long as I haven't eaten meat. But I had to have a cheeseburger from there. It was sooooooo good to...I could have eaten NINE of them!! Thought I would share a pic of my tasty treat...

New Pics!!

Ok so these are going to be a little out of order, but I wanted to get all of the pictures up!! Here are the sonogram pictures from ALL of our appointments, and the kids with their shirts on!! The kids in their shirts.....

6 weeks....nothing really there..just a dot!!

7 weeks...this is where I found out I had a "tear." It's the dark spot between the big circle and the shadow on the right.

9 weeks!! NO MORE TEAR!!! I was concerned that the baby wasn't going to have arms though...

12 weeks...and....

Telling the FAM

I was sooo excited when I could finally tell everyone!! We told Dara first... we had to babysit the kids and they were wearing surprise t-shirts when she got home!! Then we drove to Wichita to tell our parents. I had on a shirt that said "Does this shirt make me look pregnant?" Jonathan and I were at the house when my parents got home and I came out with it on...then the shock, and the screams...if you notice in the pictures, Jonathan isn't in there because he was supposed to follow me and then walked to slow so he had to stay hiding in the bathroom! Then we went to tell Jonathan's parents, but his mom was already suspicious!!!...and then we told his grandparents, but I didn't get a picture of that!

13 weeks..and new at blogging

Ok, so very new at this blogging stuff. I was just going to set up a blog on thebump.com but I feel like all of the cool blogs I see use this! I don't really have anything to say..things are going well--I feel like I am getting fatter, not pregnant, just fat--so the emotions there are kind of bittersweet. I will post some sono pictures later after I explore this a little more :)
